All well and good.
But you had to fire the coach at the time to hire the replacement.
Guess what, they all but fired Les, then got cold feet. Kind of hard to hire a guy for an occupied position.
And guess what, that Admin that botched the whole scenario is still in place, and any possible coaches see that and they remember. Who risks calling LSU and expressing interest, risking their current job, after seeing that? No one.
