What’s the best out there?

I'm a former Trifexis user. It's an all-in-one, given monthly. However, it can be make your pet ill (vomiting), so it might not be for every dog. I switched to ...

Bravecto. Administer it once every 3 months, although it can probably last a little longer.

Note, you'll have to buy a separate heartworm medicine. I use Heartgard Plus (given monthly).

I buy my pet medicine online through a company out of Australia. It takes about 2.5 weeks to receive once order is placed.

It is about 30 to 40 % less expensive than buying in the states.

My wife was just telling me she ordered a year’s worth of the dog’s meds and my a-hole puckered up when I asked how much she spent. I had her cancel the order once I checked the site you recommended, and literally saved over 50%. Thank you, sir!

I echo everything you typed. One of my dogs was always susceptible to throwing up Trifexis.

I've now switched my dogs over (for a year now) to Bravecto and use Heartguard Plus purchased from pet-i-supply. Have yet to have any of my dogs throw up Bravecto and it works great.

I used to go through hell with keeping fleas off my dogs when using topical stuff, and dips. I switched to the oral pills years ago and haven't had a problem since.

We used monthly heartguard and our lab tested positive for heartworms a few years ago. After treatment he was fine. Heartguard is effective on the larval stage, and doesn't work after that. Some research has indicated that heartworms are evolving to have a shorter larval stage and the monthly heartworm dose may miss the window of effectiveness. We give it to our dogs every two weeks now and have had no more problems.
