My xbox1 no longer plays discs

I am not paying to repair it since I never play it. If anyone wants it and lives near Baton Rouge/LP let me know

Same happened to mine. Normal xbox one. Tilting the system as you put in a disc allows it to read.
I just use it as a netflix/youtube box now.. and game on switch/pc. This is the 5th microsoft product to shite on me since the 360. I'm done.

Wrong.
Half the 360 digital library isn't available due to licensing or pure laziness. Also games are taken off the marketplace constantly.
And no resale market.

Mine at onetime was not reading disks, but did after a hard reset.

Are you selling or giving it away? Also would you be willing to ship it(I would pay the costs) if you are giving it away. My son would love it to play fornite and Minecraft with his cousin online.

I bought a refurbished one from Gamestop for $70 I think because I still want to play my 360 games yet my drive failed to read disks. You can install a new disk drive but you have to flash the drive to get it to work. I didn't want to go through all of that work.
