My wife is hunting in a bow only situation in Texas. Hogs and deer. Got a her a crossbow that shoots great, but the damn Rage broad heads deploy even in the quiver and I'm sick of dealing with them. How Rage has gotten so popular with that shitty plastic collar design is beyond me at this point.

Looking at Grim Reapers or NAP Spitfires. Anyone else have good recs?

You must be using the collar wrong. Do not line the blades up with the slits.

I've used them for many years and they don't get knocked loose in the quiver unless they hook something and get pulled hard.

If you're hell bent on switching check out the NAP doublecross

I don’t use a crossbow so I can’t say their crossbow specific heads are great, but I won’t hit the woods with anything other than a grim reaper. I tried others and found my way back to the reapers. Absolutely love them. No o rings or rubber bands. They are awesome heads.

Never had a problem with Rage like you're describing, but I went back to old school muzzles a couple years ago. I couldn't be happier.

Check out Exodus broadheads. I shoot them and they fly well. Also have great reviews.

i shoot rage hypodermic xbow heads and have never had an issue. as someone else said, don’t align the blades in the collar skits.

NAP FOC, hands down. 170 grain, 3-inch cut. They fly true and will flat out punch 2 holes through anything.
