I hear people saying open it up. How can you go to a pass heavy offense when you cannot protect the passer and your QB is not that accurate a thrower?

Also, passing the ball is hard. The amount of processing that a receiver and a QB has to do per play takes a while to develop, more than one year unless they are just exceptional mentally.

Another factor is the limits of personnel. I know that Steve loves to run an Ace formation, (Two TEs and two flankers, one back) but he has not had two healthy TEs all year long. So he is not able to run everything that he would like to.

Our OC is good enough. No one works harder. Heck the man sleeps in his office some nights. As Burrow improves his passing and the O line improves their protection, the offense will thrive.

Alabama was an anomaly. That was the best college team that I have ever seen. No one is going to hang with Bama this year, just give them the trophy now.
By the way they are young. They will return almost their entire team for next year.
