My 17/18 year old self wouldn't have understood this either, but most of these kids would be much, much better off learning a trade, avoiding the debt, and making plenty enough money to live a comfortable life.

Yeah I agree for the most part. I think college is a scam unless you're majoring in a STEM curriculum. Some of the business type degrees can be useful too. If I could go back in time I'd probably be a carpenter or something.

There are many degrees at LSU that are just fricking kids over by even offering them. Now, if they kid and their family is stupid enough to actually spend their money to receive a useless degree, maybe they deserve to be poor forever.
