I think that a split is possible but for a different reason than the Panthers being better than us. I think that the Saints keep rolling and make the week 17 game irrelevant for playoff seeding. The Panthers May need that game to get into the playoffs. I could also see CSP going all out to keep them out of the playoffs.

It would be really, really cool to have the #1 seed locked up by then to let Brees rest and Bridgewater start.
