But- look at the public reaction. Everyone's pointing fingers at each other, nobody's really on high alert, Left-Right bitching has increased.

Stuff really blowing up would scare the shite out of everyone, and we WOULD unite for awhile.

If the intent was to increase division, then it's been successful.
