Here’s the real evolution
We had the OhWeeOh chant. And people would add “you suck”
Then in 2007 we played the Gamecocks
So “you suck cock” happened
Then Cock is added at every game by 2008 and the OhWeeOh chant gets pulled (there was a song the band played”
So, in a patriotic act of civil disobedient a more offense and horrible chant was added.
OhWeeOh was neck before neck.

It was a bit more clever than that, as I remember:
“You suck... cocks”
Which could be the rude but PG “you suck, Cocks” or what we really meant which was “you suck cocks!”
2007 was a hell of a time to be an LSU undergrad...
But when we showed up next week and people were still saying it with the loss of plausible deniability that the name of the opponent gave us, I knew we were on borrowed time.
This is, in fact, why we can’t have nice things.
Eta: we also chanted “frick you, Spurrier” which made it on national television. So there was that, as well...
