Ive got chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Not really a cure but they can keep it manageable for the most part.

Damn. Didn't know that. Mine was much more acute. I was relieved when I discovered I had the Cadillac of Cancer (Hodgkins) but then I could tell my oncologist was a little freaked out when she got my first staging PET back and it was everywhere and I had huge tumors. It was like a shitty broken down Cadillac. It went quicker than it came, which was nice but hearing about people who survived HL only to have a worse form come back is scary as shite. I'm hoping the newer treatment and no rad work to my advantage.

Sorry this isn't about me, but it's an actual "really makes you think" lol. (contrast w, I was typing on Word while watching the Seahawks just yesterday...)
