Ask UF if it was predictable. The other part that has been predictable, is the offensive ranking nationally.

High school coaches know how to adjust play calls to slow down a pass rush.
not against 4 man rushes.

When the defense is killing you just rushing 3 or 4 there is not an adjustment to make.

You force the defense to send an extra man, then you have lots of shite to do

Fire E!
Fire Moffitt!
Fire Sullivan!
Fire O!
Fire Alleva!
Fire Alexander!
Fire the BoS!

I think I covered everyone that the rant has asked to be fired in the last 2 days.

LSU returned very little production at the skill positions. The QB had never started a game before and was on campus for a few months before the first game. I think every member of the offensive line has been injured or suspended at one point this year.

I think saying that Ensminger is a definitive failure at this point (6 games in) is a bit silly, given the above.

That is how you rebuild and become great. Ask Alabama. They refused to stay irrelevant and went after a proven group, which has built a foundation that apparently can't be beaten. This experiment of reject hires was attempted, and it has failed. Time to move on. This university owes Orgeron nothing, other than the money that Alleva has wasted on him. LSU football deserves a proven winner at the top, and not a proven loser.

The simple fact is confirmation bias. The same people that hated the O hire look for any reason whatsoever to trash him and anyone associated with him.

Or they understand that he was never qualified from the beginning and he still has done nothing to disprove that belief. Hiring Ensminger was a disastrous mistake, and Orgeron should not have room for mistakes.

It is impossible to say this after 6 games into his second season.

It was possible to say it prior to his first game, because of his resume.

You can’t call someone a failure before he coaches a game. What are you even saying?

When has either coach succeeded as a head coach or coordinator? What other power 5 team would consider hiring either, in their respective positions?

Funny you say that. During the Florida game the broadcasters were saying the offense was playing more confidently than in past seasons. And had it not been for the turnover on the second series LSU looked to be well on the way to imposing its will on a tough Florida D.

It's always about recruiting talent much more than X's and O's.

Anyone down voting has their head in the sand. Seriously people. Ed O is a fricking coach!! How is that possible. I’m still amazed.

Every member of the media is aware that they were bad hires. Opposing coaches are aware that they were dumb hires. Their coaching histories prove that they were dumb hires. Only you few coonass lovers will defend this shite. Just sad that the football program will have to suffer Troy losses and complete mediocrity, after what Saban built here. LSU once made a commitment to greatness and it needs to happen again.
