While I agree with you and I'm also not a member of either party, I think it's way, way worse with liberals and Democrats. You really can't even have a conversation with them anymore, sometimes not even in person. They're also so caught up in their own Echo Chambers that they just assume everyone they meet shares their ideologies. Conservatives don't do this. They're skeptical of you until they talk to you a little bit and can feel you out. You can always talk to Republicans and conservatives about any topic and not get shouted down. They will almost always engage you in the discussion even if they are really passionate about it. The so-called tolerant liberals are no longer tolerant, not even to conversation.
