If I am a kid in a metro area with my pick of DI offers, Blacksburg will always be a hard sell, even if I live in Virigina Beach.

Tuscaloosa and Baton Rouge both suck but kids get in line to play there. That’s a crap excuse.

It's amazing how well VT recruits despite Blacksburg being a 5 hour drive from Norfolk and over 4 hours from DC. To give you an idea, Wake Forest is closer to Norfolk and UNC/Pitt are closer to DC than Blacksburg is.
