Not all Tulane fans hate LSU, mostly just the old timer die-hards. The series had run its course anyway, the programs went in two different directions and it wasn't fun anymore. It just doesn't make sense for either school to play each other. LSU might as well schedule SELA, ULL, La Tech, McNeese. Tulane might as well get their shite pushed in by the Ohio State's and Auburn's of the world to get a paycheck

I have run into my fair share of 20 and 30-somethings that loathe LSU, also.
Do you know the history of why Tulane left the SEC? I know a lot of random facts from that era, but that one has escaped me. Obviously looking back at it now, it would have probably been in their best interest to stay in the league. If Vandy could survive, surely Tulane could have also.
