Recently moved to a house with a metal roof and can't make/receive phone calls in most areas of my house. ATT service and it works fine a few feet from my front door. What can I do (other than getting a new roof)?

Also...unfortunately wifi isn't great here either so wifi calling, while better, is hit or miss if others are using bandwidth.

Get a better WiFi router?

Ask ATT for a femto cell.

Get a we boost cell booster. Basically you point an antenna at the cell tower closet to you then use the booster to bring the signal inside the house.

I'd like to hear a solution to this one. We have a small farm house where cell phone service is sketchy inside, outside its fine.

Metal roof on house, big metal workshop next to house, no problem with cell service (ATT) or wifi... We do have one dead zone in the kitchen where reception can be spotty, but I've always attributed that to all the appliances and electronics concentrated in this area. There is one ~8X8 area centered between range, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, all stainless steel that I have dropped calls. Rest of the house is fine.
