Anyone ever try an IV bar to kick a hangover?

After a long weekend I was considering it but didn’t pull the trigger. Has anyone tried one? How well does it work?

I’m sure it helps, it’s just saline solution

Drink a 20 oz orange Gatorade, 4 Tylenol and rub one out. Surefire hangover cure.

Not an IV bar, but I’ve tried a xanbar. That worked.

I’d probably quit drinking so much if it ever came to that

Had one in Vegas with the B12 added in it. Gives you a lot of energy.

about the only thing it does is rehydrate you from ethanol-induced diuresis and/or vomiting...
but in terms of "curing" a hangover, there's no such thing... alcohol is broken down at a constant rate (0.015 g/100mL/hour), with the rate limiting enzyme being alcohol dehydrogenase...

Yes. Back in the day when I was a resident at Charity Hospital we would come in get an iv started get 2 liters and a little toradol and ready to go out again. Now I do it during Mardi Gras sometimes

There is one here in Baton rouge open every day of the week and they have a special for $50 or $60 bucks with vitamins and torodol for the headache. They offer oxygen too. Vida-flo on coursey

Lived with a buddy that worked at the naval hospital in Pensacola right out of high school. He used to pop an IV after a night of partying. Talk about instant hangover relief. Not sure if it would work as well at 40 as it did 18 but I'm sure it would help.

Take Ibuprofen and Vitamin B before bed. You'll be fine the next morning.

Sounds good in theory, but during my hangovers that would require those measures I'm usually not interested in driving around town. Or particularly capable of doing so.

It does work. Use to get them all the time in the navy.
