My rants are fact based. Fact is we fired Miles for meddling with the offense, refusing to adapt, and being unable to generate a competent qb. Now let’s look at the facts. In a blowout win, our passing offense was weak. We passed for less than 200 yards (a common issue with Miles), our passer was inefficient (below 50% is not good), and our rushing offense was lackluster outside of a fantastic 50 yard touchdown. We also settled for field goals way too often and played super conservative

Every criticism I've ever made about Orgeron has been based on facts.

Talking about Ole Miss 10 plus years ago is not relevant

Because you deem it irrelevant doesn't mean that it's not factually accurate.

We did this when up by 24-30 points.

It's not good but I don't put that on Burrow. Lots of drops. He had three bad throws. He did get batted down too much. The stats are misleading here. Burrow had a solid game.

Damn right I supported Miles. My picture with him still hangs in my office. He is a legend and he was the LSU coach.

LSU would have lost the game last night had Coach Miles still been the HC for LSU, IMHO.

Being factually accurate doesn't mean its relevant to the situation at hand. That works both ways.

Yes, we are all aware. We've heard those same facts for the last eight months. None of the countervailing facts matter to you.

As someone who didn't like the hire and is not 100% sold on O, I understand y'all's view. But while I have concerns, I also see that O has a great coaching staff and O did a very good job at addressing the weak spots on our team in the offseason. I do think O is a much better coach than he was at Ole Miss. I think the coaching was very good last night. We beat a talented team even though our players made several execution errors.

It's a good start for this season. The Auburn game should be a good one.

It's all a person with no argument can do-be emotional. I don't think anyone here hates 0. As you said, we do not think he is the right man for the job. He wins the west this year and I will give that a serious re-consideration. Until then, well...

“Orgeron could win a national championship and y’all would criticizing him”

Our last coach did win a NC and played in 2 NCGs. He was routinely criticized here. So, what’s the big deal with LSU fans criticizing the LSU coach?

I swear, y’all act like this is something new. It isn’t!

Hard to respect your opinion if this is your conclusion on our passing game

Some other things to consider...

1. It was our first game with a new OF, a new QB. and new starters sprinkled in everywhere on that side of the ball.

2. Miami may struggle offensively, but their defense would be top half in the SEC imho, maybe tied for 4th with Aubbie and only behind Bama, MSU, and LSU.

3. Our rushing offense was "okay" given what we were facing with our OL. Lackluster is a stretch, especially when considering we went conservative (intelligently so imo). By doing so, we limited their big play capability on that side of the ball. We played to win and did just that. For the "foot off the gas crowd", here is a fact...we beat Miami last night by more than we beat Oregon in 2011.

4.I thought the calls on the pass plays were pretty good. We missed the tight end in the EZ for a score. There were 4 drops and 5 throwaways...illustrating the prowess of the Miami pass rush against out young OL.

I'm short, you are judging this team through a very specific lense...stats only. IIRC, statistically, we outgained Alabama on the road last year. How did that work out for us? If you you didn't like the O hire...fine, most didn't. Using "facts" in this manner smells of a 'not my coach" or "Never O" narrative. Unless the wheels fall off totally, he is going to win enough games this season to prolong your misery. Heck, if our offense improves at all (my expectation given a fair take), our games in November could be YUGE! Time will tell.

TLDR-stats are for losers.

Lies, damn lies, and statistics

You go way beyond not believing in O. You deride and ridicule him incessantly. That is what has to stop. You people, and I mean you, are always looking for a way out of your behavior. For your information, O and all the coaches are part of LSU and the team. Either support the team or not. Your decision. Up to this point, Orgeron has not given any tiger fan a reason for the derision he receives from the nega-tigers. From my point of view, the program is heading in the right direction and I fully support it.
