Is the stadium nicer after the Hall of Fame renovations? It looks great on TV.

Dallas might not get great attendance, but with the insane rate Frisco is growing, I think they’ll start drawing 20K regularly at some point in the next few years. Just market the hell out of being “Frisco’s team” if the team is staying there for the foreseeable future.

My dream for FC Dallas is that one day they get rich ownership and move into the heart of the Dallas-FTW metroplex. They have Seattle-level potential. I’m sure that’s in MLS long-term plans down the road. The new USL team could stay in Frisco.

Houston also has huge potential not being realized, because they have the worst ownership in the league besides Anthony Precourt. I hope MLS forces a sale at some point.

It’s unfortunate for MLS that the league’s cheapest ownership groups are all in some of the biggest markets, which really hurts the popularity of the league nationally. Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Philadelphia, San Jose should all be doing much better in terms of growing their fan bases.
