I'm not sure what kind of boat you have but the forecast is calling for southeast winds and 1-2' seas all weekend. That's not fun in a small boat even if you don't get caught in storms. Tomorrow forecast is 10-15kt winds, add a passing storm to that and you will get your arse kicked in most boats.

I haven't decided if I am going to say frick it and go to the marsh or go sit at a sandbar up river and drink beer

If you do go to the marsh make sure you mark flatboat key on your GPS if you want to keep your lower unit

If you want to fish in the bay just throw dead shrimp on the bottom at the train or car bridge, you can also fish the pilings on the southeast side or the oyster beds marked with a pole in between the bridges

Decided we are going to try BSL in the morning before taking the wives up to the Jourdan River area in the afternoon.

Thanks for the recommendation. We caught a few reds and a lot of black drum along the train bridge. Nothing was biting at car bridge or Taylor’s reef unfortunately.
