Rented an AirBnB for the weekend with the wife and some friends. She had a place here as a kid. We wouldn’t mind trying some fishing even though none of us have been here before. Trying to decide if it’s worth running to Biloxi Marsh area instead of buying a MS license to fish Bay St Louis. If we decide to fish BSL does anyone have a recommendation as to if we fish the bridge, Marsh to the north or beach?

I’d run to BM, if weather permits

There's always fish to be caught around the Bay, but you'll definitely have a better shot at a good box if you run to the marsh. I don't fish BM often, so I can't help much there. It's an easy run from Pass/BSL.

The reds are thick around the bay this year. Trout were good in close for most of the year, but seems to have slowed down a bit lately.

If the weather is anything like last weekend, keep your eyes peeled. Storms were popping up all over, all weekend long.

I really have nothing to contribute other than fishing in pass Christian in 90’s was the shite. First place I ever casted a rod.

It subsequently flew out of my hand in into the water. My dad yelled at me. Hours later he snagged it.

That’s really what memories are made of.

I'm not sure what kind of boat you have but the forecast is calling for southeast winds and 1-2' seas all weekend. That's not fun in a small boat even if you don't get caught in storms. Tomorrow forecast is 10-15kt winds, add a passing storm to that and you will get your arse kicked in most boats.

I haven't decided if I am going to say frick it and go to the marsh or go sit at a sandbar up river and drink beer

If you do go to the marsh make sure you mark flatboat key on your GPS if you want to keep your lower unit

If you want to fish in the bay just throw dead shrimp on the bottom at the train or car bridge, you can also fish the pilings on the southeast side or the oyster beds marked with a pole in between the bridges
