Orgeron wasn’t coaching those teams. Maybe that played a role. Who knows.

Exactly.

He has 4 years left to prove himself at a prestigious SEC school.

Now he will either have to sit out a year or play JUCO.

Unless he sees Orgeron as a baffoon (which is possible), he is making a hugely irrational and flaccid decision.

The days of QBs of any real value sticking around like that are getting closer and closer to being completely gone. Fans of programs need to come to terms with that.

He was at the bottom of a four man rotation. Of course he wants to transfer and hope he can find a place to play. And it won’t be anywhere special because if he had enough talent for that he could and would stay here.
He didn’t pan out. LN is not an accurate passer and that’s that. You’re unrealistic if you think that, after thousands of career reps, he’s going to “develop “ into a good passer. It’s not the staff, it’s him.

mcneese my friend. his brother was a standout there

He ain't transferring there to sit out one year. McNeese is in Division I football. JUCO is the most likely route then transfer back to a P5 conference.

He is a mobile dual threat qb that will rely far more on his legs than his arm

He may realize the new system isn’t suited for him

That doesn’t make him or Lsu the bad guy

It is what it is

If he is a quitter than so is Burrow.

Can’t have it both ways

Nah. Oh, and I assume he was actually OK with Burrow coming in and taking the starting position. This is exactly his plan for wherever he is going otherwise why leave? I assume his plan is not to be 2nd string elsewhere. I bet he'll be fine with taking another QB's job and watch someone transfer from that school.

It’s the Ed Orgeron clown show. How can bama and Georgia have two freshman qbs ready to play in the national championship game and play well? Yet we can’t have two highly recruited qbs even come close to touching the field in their second year.

People for whatever reason all of a sudden forgot that Burrow had a greater shot at starting at OSU than Brennan/McMillian/Narcisse starting at many programs around the country.

WhAts the point? Ed o needs to hit the fricking road. How can our program be taken serious when our coach is on the verge of being fired each year? Was hired bc a bunch of coonasses thought he deserved it bx he was like us.

Just a kid with voices in his ears that think they know best. Can't do nothing but accept his decision and move on.

That sucks. I would have preferred Brennan transfer.

But, you can't make a kid want to be here. He had clear opportunity to be the starter down the road. He chose a different route.

He wouldn't have to sit if he moved to FCS.

Damn. I wish he’d given it more of a chance. I understand he wants to play but I think he also needs to be realistic, given the seriousness of his injuries. Unless he goes the Juco route he still has to sit out a year. Best of luck.

Well, since you asked. The Alabama QB and the Georgia QB actually played the last two years of high school. Their development was much further along than LN. Who's the other QB you're referring to?
