re: Have you or anybody you know ever had to spend the night in the swamp?

I happen to know a little bit of trivia about this picture. The building under the stadium, left of the pool is the old 'Florida Gym' that was renovated thanks to donations from Emmitt Smith. It's where UF used to play its basketball games. Their basketball program was so bad back in the day, many Gator fans I've spoken to, have as a most prominent memory, times when people like Pistol Pete came to play, as opposed to anything that UF ever did.

In two duty stations I worked with a person that was a massive Florida fan, so I've had no choice but to hear about a lot of Gator stuff over the years.
