We used to see some issues with it from time to time. It would make a glaze over the carb diaphragm and make it hard as a rock. Not all the time but every time we saw that happen it was when someone used pre-mix.
I still don't understand why there's a market for the stuff. Like $5 gets you a gallon of non-ethanol premium gas and Stihl synthetic mixing oil. It feels like it solves a problem that was really never there
