Roku -$30 per TV (one time cost). 100 mbps internet connection - $50/month. Hulu with Live TV and unlimited screens - $60/month. You get CBS, ABC, NBC, Watch ESPN and Fox Sports Go with Hulu.

Damn, I only pay $20 more than this example for 400MBpS Internet, 200+ channels, phone, DVR boxes on 2 TVs. I don’t see the advantage of “cutting the cord” for less service and convenience if they relatively cost the same per month.

We have 9 TVs. Hulu offers HD with DVR functionality on all of them for ~$70/month less than our cable provider.

Is that an introductory rate?

The cable deals looked good until I saw the price after the first 12 months. I’ve been streaming games for a few years now. Only time I’ve had issues was when I had AT&T internet. Switched to Cox and no problems streaming everything since.
