The easy clean out tray at the bottom was a big deciding factor. It having a sear box on the side added to my decision as well.




I was pretty set on getting a Rec-Tec, but the sear box option on the Camp Chef has me reconsidering. I don't currently have a gas grill, but would like to have the option to quickly get a grill up to temp to sear when I sous vide, or just cook some chicken quick since it's just the wife (no pics) and I.

As much as I would love to have a Weber gasser AND a Rec-Tec pellet pooper, I can't justify the price when the Camp Chef kills two birds with one grill.
