Interesting that they are using to treat it, glad it’s working. Also the use of ketamine to treat depression. And psilocybin I’ve read for things like that.

A companion study of veterans in South Carolina produced similar results. A much larger, clinical trial will follow.

“The goal is to have really good results and then we can have MDMA as a prescription medication for PTSD,” she said.

For Colleen, the drug and the therapy has made a huge difference. She no longer exhibits symptoms and calls the treatment a cure.

“Life was very difficult in the beginning. By the end a lot of things changed,” she said. “It gave me my life back.”

Didn’t it used to be legal and was an intervention in marital counseling?

I've read a lot about it and overall it seems like a positive experience. Especially microdosing Psil. .3g or so per dose micros. Lots of people grow their own cubes, dry, grind and capsule.

When people say the hardest part of depression is not feeling anything it makes sense to me that MDMA would be like a reminder to the body what a flooding of emotion and happiness can feel like again. Obviously won’t be for everyone but it’s good to hear that people are being helped in some cases.

Watch the Joe Rogan podcast with Michael Pollan. They talk about psilocybin and other psychedelics and how they can treat PTSD and depression. Interesting stuff.

I'm for whatever works. I attended a celebration of life yesterday for a friend/co worker who suffered from PTSD and committed suicide this past Monday morning.

41 years old and left behind 3 kids (A set of twins) and his ex wife (In the process of going through a divorce). The man was a Director at my company at 41 which is unheard of. Even when you think people have it all, no one knows the demons that they fight with internally on a daily basis because most of the time they don't want to burden us with their problems.

22 vets take their life every day. That's 22 too many. It makes me sick tbh.
