Been in TX all my life and never seen one before today. Seen numerous rattlesnakes, copperheads and water moccasins throughout the years but this was a first to me. Earlier this year my mates came across two diamondbacks mating in the trails at 5:30 AM. Wear your headlamps.

Definitely less threatening looking than other poisonous snakes.

Kicked myself for not having a phone with me.
