What Ruin Johnson did to Luke and his lightsaber was unforgivable.
In the first Star Wars, Luke is handed a lightsaber that was from his father, who was Darth Vader, who made it when he was Anakin Skywalker. When Luke faces his father, the lightsaber is seemingly lost forever when Luke’s hand is cut off.
TFA makes a special storyline to return maybe the most iconic movie weapon in cinema history, back to Luke. Ruin Johnson makes Luke Skywalker nonchalantly throw it away for a cheap laugh.
