Are all of the other threads on this same subject anchored? Or did we really need another one to reiterate the same things people have literally argued about hundreds of times for hundreds of thread pages?

This subject isn't just discussed, it has diverted the whole board into warring parties.

I do admit I have very strong feelings on the subject and don't think the people on the other side have a defensible point of view - but I am really ready for the subject to just go away for a while. Maybe then people will be able to go back to talking about interesting old movies or small projects they wanted to share.
