I grew up on Malvern Hill. I haven't been back in quite a few years but the way I remember it from my childhood was a picture of what neighborhood subdivision life should be. Nice area, good mix of people, safe and well kept. Kids riding bikes to parks and making sure they got home when the street lights came on for dinner.
Really hard to hear this type of thing goes on there now.

Buddy of mine lives on Chickamauga Ave. and this describes his street perfectly. Maybe some parts of Shenandoah aren’t “what they used to be”, but not that street.
Keep in mind that neighborhood sits on one of the largest swaths of high ground in what is basically surrounded by floodplain. One more major flood and that area becomes prime real estate for the foreseeable future.
