The incident was reported around 2:30 p.m. at the River Center in downtown Baton Rouge. Police say one person was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
A religious convention was scheduled at the building Friday, but it's unclear if it has been affected.

Very sad; you never know what someone is going through. I feel for the family. The guilt over not being able to reach someone enough is enormous, they are here then they ship through your fingers.
