The story says he referred it to one 20 minutes away. If he is the only pharmacist at that location at that time it sounds like he followed policy. We do not know that said anything to her beyond his unwillingness to give it to her. We do not know if he announced to all what it was and was for.

So many unknowns,
If the story went down as she described it then fire him, if he didn’t make a recommendation to go somewhere else or to refer her to someone else then fire him.
Something tells me this is a lot of grey though.
Woman comes into store to get prescription filled after one of the hardest weeks of her life, guy says he wasn’t going to fill it. What his tone was, where he told her that is all unknowns. But to go immediately and contact the licensing board and try to get legislation passed screams red flags to me. Most red blooded Americans first step would be talk to attorney, second step is sue Walgreens then months later bring up fighting so it can’t happen to anyone else.
I don’t understand contacting the store manager to fill the prescription part, the store manager cannot fill a prescription
Btw: I don’t know her sitauation but man there is no way in hell im letting my wife go to the store in public and fill this prescription. I’m going to handle all of that for her.
