An interim coach, in general, takes way more chances trying to get the job vs trying to keep the job. I think that was pretty clear to see with Orgeron the last 2 years.

I get that some people feel that way, but apparently the NCAA doesn't.

You could also state the case that a team that had their coach fired is also a team that has already mentally lost and/or may not be very talented so if the coach can step in and make them perform better than their predecessor it may actually be a more impressive achievement.

If you discount interim then you invite the winning with the other coach's players argument that some have given to Les' success which I also think is a bit ridiculous.

You can certainly say interim is different, but a win is a win regardless of how someone feels. Not taking a shot at you, I actually like your posts. Just adding a different perspective.
