I will never own another Goodman.
Took the lowest price, once with a 5 ton Goodman compressor / outside unit.
Year One expires the parts and labor warranty. It failed in year two. Now all of a sudden, parts did not include the $2100 in Freon.
Pulled the whole system and went with a Ruud. No problems after 8 years.

Damn, most of them are 10 years for parts. I had a compressor go out in a 7 year old Carrier at our old house and the part was under warranty. Still cost me like $1200 in labor though

They all use virtually the same manufactured components-compressor-contactors,motors,fans etc. coils may be different however. If installed correctly, they all should be fine !!
