You just compared an heiress to the fricking Hearst fortune to a girl who's dad help found a special effects studio all because you want to paint him in some unflattering light.

Look...I'm happy to agree that the guy doesn't seem to be dating girls he finds at Whole Foods. He seems to have dated exclusively within the entertainment industry since he was at MTV as far as I know (which ain't all that much and based only on what I remember hearing the guy say on air). I mean, he apparently dated Lisa Loeb back in the day. Also a pedigree thing?

But you made it sound like he was running around searching for companions like someone searches for street cred. Given that I don't have such a visceral dislike for the guy, I'm just not willing to pretend that he's dating girls for any reason other than they met in the same circles and hit it off.

But then I didn't casually assume that he sexually assaulted some girl because I find him to be annoying, so I think we kind of have differing ways of looking at people at a base level.
