She said she has proof. Until we see any proof you can't really take sides

How much do you bet that this "proof" will be some recorded argument that seems entirely one sided but is ultimately pretty begin...and yet it will be used to suggest she's been 100% truthful? After all, he's already said they fought and yelled at each other. I have no doubt that if I had been recorded arguing with an ex-girlfriend I could potentially sound like a huge dickhead. It would not really prove anything, especially if after the fact I acknowledged that we had a fairly bad relationship and we'd yell form time to time.
But...maybe there's more...I really have no idea.
But I also bet that he's got a bunch of crazy texts from her after their break-up that will make her look like some insane ex-girlfriend too. Those will only go to show what he said about her wanting to get back together is also true, in a certain light.
FWIW, I don't think that if he thought there was really much to her story he'd come out guns blazing like that. If you're guilty and you know it, it's best to throw yourself on your sword and begin begging ASAP. and even though it's almost impossible to sway public opinion at this point even if you are 100% innocent, and innocent man would say so, and be kind of pissed about it. I also think that he spent the day talking to his lawyer and deciding exactly what had happened and what he ought to say in response. If he thought she could prove any of this, throwing her under the bus seems like incredibly shitty advice...
I will say that, if I had to bet money, from having listened to him for years, I'd guess he's pretty controlling. And I don't even mean that in some overbearing way, just as "I need to make most of the decisions" kind of way in the way some people lead relationships and the pother party is ok with it. He also describes being stressed so I'd guess he's prone to bouts of being argumentative, etc. So...there were parts of what she said that sounded plausible to a degree. The other stuff, honestly...not really, but I'm open to any evidence there is.
