Actually he failed to report out-of -state travel, which he was required to do as a registered sex offender. As a result an arrest warrant was issued and the newspapers did some investigating and the news media went wild with the story.
He’s a piece of shite and shouldn’t be allowed to play baseball on any kind of team-I don’t care how good he is. He pleaded guilty-it’s bull shite that he claims he didn’t do it now.

You are correct about what happened after the report by Oregon police, but you are dead wrong. Under Washington law he did not have to report out-of-state. I literally mentioned that and you can read about it. It was an error by the police and they even apologized.

Rob, you’re one of my favorite posters, and about 99.9% of the time I’m simpatico with you. But this is that .1% where we’re just gonna have to agree to disagree.
I know that in the eyes of the law he was a minor. But I was 14 years old in 1980. I knew then that shite like this was absolutely unacceptable. And 2009 14 year olds were a helluva lot more sophisticated than we ever were.
Now should he be punished for it for the rest of his life? I don’t know. The law says no.
But the fact is, it’s out there now. And it’s gonna follow him around for the rest of his life, regardless of the legalities.

Not at all. This is about baseball and whether people with passed transgressions can play. And the answer is obviously a resounding yes based on the amount of athletes that have gone through the NCAA with equal or worse that have occurred WHILE attending. End of story.
You can shun him for the rest of his life but you are not above the law to say that he has not legally paid. So, this comes down to a matter of should he be allowed to play baseball? Well, that's not up to you to decide, but you can certainly have your own opinion about it.

Lost respect for you here. What is fake news about the story that was crafted? The dude is guilty. He ruined a marriage. His family didn’t want anything to do with him anymore. The child gave a specific account of what happened that extended over a 3 year period.
He doesn’t care about what he did and still pretends he didn’t do it to this day. No amount of peripheral bullshite will change our minds. It’s one thing for you to defend the school but don’t think by any stretch of the imagination that we are going to magically support you views on it.
