I would expect a sweep if I was a Beaver fan.
I still don't expect LSU to do much, the lineup can go really cold at times. Really missing SS Smith so badly. The bottom two batters for LSU are about as bad of a hitting combo as I can remember.
My goodness yall can really pour it on in some games.. 19 and 20 run games.. some really high scoring games..
Hopefully it's just close and we are competitive. If we can get good pitching then who knows.
I was just surprise to see Oregon St drop series to Utah and Arizona.

Bet this baw won’t come at me bro

Peppridge Farm Remembers.
I couldn't sleep that night. You guys had just won a national championship in 2003. We lost by 1 point.
Alexis Serna missed 3 extra points that game and never missed another extra point in the rest of his career.

Look at the top 8 national seeds. Look at who LSU played out of that 8 this past wk. And won 2 out of 4 against those teams, easily could have been 3 out of 4. When the pitching does not implode, the bats have shown they can get the job done, against top rated teams. Is LSU the favorite? No. But to rule LSU out before a pitch is even thrown, especially after the SEC tourney, is dumb & dumber. Look at what team Hess shut down in the Hawgs. The Beavers may be that good but then, so are the Hawgs.

Why do you always bring that up, beavfan?
It's the real reason i always fear playing LSU because it never fails im going to see those words Serna and Xtra points again from some beaver fan who didn't nearly suffer as much from that loss as i did. We had big #1 Stone DEAD and There i was bragging out my a$$ to my family watching it with me, all of them hard core living-in-stinking-eugene duck fans, them secretly jealous but publicly cheering my beavs.rah fuking rah as the we build that 16 point lead And then we blow it. Oh the look of satisfaction on my mom's face when i cried real tears after Serna shlt the bed again and again.
Why bring it up again bro?

Man, it was THAT bad for you in ‘04?
shite, you should’ve seen this place the night of 1/9/12 if you wanted to see a complete meltdown.

To add to that, the reason he missed one of the XPs was because the dumb arse WR that caught the TD refused to give the ball to the official and it drew an unsportsmanlike penalty (if I remember correctly), making the XP 15 yards longer. The kick hit the upright. Should have made it with room to spare...

I can’t pretty much assure you that LSU has their respect. Down year or not we’re stik LSU and any program in the country would be concerned with LSU being there

I agree. The ones I interacted with last year in Omaha were pretty cool. They were definitely behind us to win the CWS last year after we eliminated them. Should be a good regional.

What does baw mean?
I love when people ask this
I think it's a Louisiana thing primarily referring to blue collar working white men. You could also consider white collar white men baws as well, depending on the amount of calluses on their hands and hair on their chest. If they're feminine or dependent on others in anyway then they're not baw material.
It helps if you read every sentence with the word "baw" in it with a country accent.
For example - "God damn baw!" With a country accent, that phrase just sounds right.

And thank god Lil' Sweet graduated (?). That douche with the bleach-blonde mullet and his annoying mother were too much.
good grief...I think the Rant has more posters in a week than they do in a month...and if we're really melting down, a day!!!!

It's definitely not derogatory towards minorities, as it is a term white guys call other white guys on a message board. I'm sure it didn't originate here but it's the only place I see it.
It could almost be thought of as the 20 something white guy's version of the n-word same way black people use the n-word about each other. But nobody will get offended if a black guy sings it when singing a song.
This is the only place I see it as well. Its funny because I refer to my friends as baws now and they dont know what the hell Im talking about
The best part is that Ive got my wife using it now IRL. i.e. when someone speeds past us on the interstate with a set of truck nuts on I-10 she'll yell "slow down baw!"

Perhaps you can't remember back as far as the beginning of the season when Broussard was leading the team in hitting before he broke his hand.
