Just moved to Houston. Everything here is better than Louisiana besides two things, they subsitute "heaven" with "Texas" in the lord's prayer "On earth as it is in Texas" and crawfish prices. This is prime time of the season and shouldn't be over $4 a pound anywhere. I can't find under $8 a pound. The closest crawfish farms to Houston are probably same distance as it is in Shreveport. Yet Shreveport has $4 a pound in March. Anyone know a cheap place here?

Dude it's worth the 3 1/2 drive to go back and get spillway crawfish for cheaper than Houston.

Plus, Texans don’t know how to soak after boiling, and they pour the seasoning on top after boiling.

Moved to Houston from South Louisiana 5 years ago. Never experienced either of those two things

listen young baw, there are gazillions of crawfish farms across south LA supplying exclusively to Texas. Probably pushing more crawfish into greater Houston than to the rest of entire LA, my guess. The price for boiled crawfish is the price boiled crawfish and it ain’t gonna be the same as Shreveport.

You are talking about boiled right?

$8 does seem insane. Where are you finding these prices?

It's the last few weeks. It's going to get a little pricey in Texas then completely die out.

ETA: NETx counties for certain. 5.99 +
