My Lord, the irony is palpable.

Except Troy was less than a year ago.

Eta: Thank you for your service. I, in no way, meant that as a slight to your experience, sir.

Not sure but with him I feel like we should have a chance to win every game. Not saying they’ll go undefeated.

He’s and upgrade at QB. It’s just a spring game but if you look at the other QBs in LSU’s spring game they all had accuracy issues.

Look at Burrow and listen to the commentators while he’s in. They all say(spring game and mop up duty) his best trait is his accuracy.

Look at McMillan’s first pass in the spring game. A routine 5-7 yard slant to a wide open Giles and he threw it behind him.

Beatdown by Moo St 37-7? Deciding to kick a fg against ND on 4th and inches? If losing to Troy was not bad enough, it is totally unacceptable to lose to them at home.

Based on talent alone LSU should win 9-10 games a year. Anything less is a disgrace. LSU is more talented than most of the teams they play this year. Another 8 win season and this coaching staff needs to go.

How? Because he played at Ohio State? Because he was once a 4* recruit?

There are no definite wins on the schedule. We are less than a year from losing to Troy.

Hell even in the Les Miles years I don't remember feeling comfortable enough to call any game a definite win.

I had the season at 12-0 based on the Defense before Burrow.

But then again, how about if some teams on our schedule end up being weaker than we thought or take on enormous amount of injuries?

You mean like last year? We still lost 4 games.

You really believe he is that much better than what LSU already had? So you have no faith in the QB's on the roster?
None at all. They range from “not there” to “never gonna be there”.

This sums up the SEC last year, and we laid a giant turd.

Never understood why Florida and A&M are considered “toss ups.” They’ve got new coaches but they’ll be trotting out mostly the same players. Both teams are seriously flawed. LSU should be favored and beat both of them easily.

So LSU beats florida by 1 point, loses a 5th year qb and a 1st round rb, florida gets all their players back and a coach that beat lsu down by 30 with ms st and you don't understand why florida is considered a toss up.

This explains the thinking on this board.

I think Troy last year proved with 0, there are no definite wins.

Oh, shut the hell up. Quit bandwagon signalling that you can call out Troy as a bad loss. No duh. Different team, different year.

Now, Lose another like that in his second full year? Well then we've got some long-term problems. But that game does not foreshadow similar losses in the future when so much has changed.
