This chair strengthens your "filet" muscles, the two large muscles on each side of your spine. Can't fix disc shiite, although you can get it cut up. You can strengthen your muscles. Diagnosed at 19 after throwing major disc golf back in the late 70's. Still have issues, but this worked well. Must have a physician assistant to operate the chair and computer. Did it for 3 years, 3x/wk., faithfully. Worked. That was back then though. Hopefully you haven't trashed them too much. I did it through a chiropractor, who had Med X kick a$$ workout equip in his office, better than a gym. Hard to find them, but go find one. Use it. You'll feel better. Wish you luck, and determination.

New habits must be developed. Don't stand the same way too long. nothing goes in your back pocket, esp. when you sit. pay attention to it. If it's hurtin, back off, and watch out. Don't sit too long. I work in an office, I print to a printer a ways off, get up every 10 mins to pick stuff up. Watch what you carry. Don't twist w/a heavy load, move your feet, don't twist the spin. Change positions often while driving, scoot your arse to the other side of the seat. Haven't done the chair in years, but have learned new habits. Have a newfound respect for the boys that watch the tomb of the unknown. Can't stand that long in one position. Or won't rather. Don't ignore it or forget about it. Do work your muscles up w/the proper guidance. Go find someone who's got one of those chairs. Med X rocks, and no I do not work for them.

Not familiar with that, what is it? My diagnosis was DDD, arthritis and multi level osteophytes.

The past few days have been pretty good for me, I'm trying not to get too excited.

I’m having more good days than bad, by far. It’s depressing when I have a setback, but I’m super grateful to have mostly barely noticeable pain. After such a long time with daily pain, it feels pretty miraculous.

I hope your streak continues!

Have you tried them? I’m all for finding flip flops that look normal but won’t kill me.

I was gonna try the deck shoe looking pair. In blue. The reviews are mostly guys talking about their back pain subsiding from wearing them.

I think a lot of chicks could pull those off & look preppy or whatever, but they’d just look dumpy lesbian on me

Great! Didn’t play golf during June, at all!
Everything is limber. Been doing some Pilate core 100 stuff in the pool.

Nice! Why no golf last month?

I tried swinging my clubs a couple weeks ago. My back isn’t quite there yet. Less twisting in tennis, so that’s been less of an issue.

The ligament that holds all the vertebrae together which runs down the spinal canal on the opposite side of the spinal cord from the disc. The ligament is called ligamentum flavum and hypertrophy is when a ligament starts to thicken due to over stress or breaking down. So I showed signs of that ligament thickening which enclose on the spinal canal from the opposite side of the disc. So I have so,e central canal stenosis, I can't find hardly anything of anyone having it at mt age, most everything I have found is for people I'm their sixties.

My wife has been fighting this for years, she gets steroid shots in the base of her neck every couple months. She’s in pain 24/7, she’s a very active person as for as different forms of exercising, and nothing helps. Her spine doctor wants surgery, but she’s putting it off as long as possible, she’s 58....

frick man, that sucks. I feel for you, you're way too young to be having so many issues. What do you do for work?

I was told I had severe DDD in 1996 that I would have trouble standing up in 10 years. It's been 12 and I'm ok. Get a Teeter Todder
and use it! Takes about a week to get used to the blood going to your head. I was about to sell my but I can get fully inverted and stay for 15- minutes now, not a problem. But it only take a 5 -10 minutes 5 times a week to help.
