Dissolve teacher's unions.
All teachers hired as independent contractors for whatever salary and benefits they can negotiate.
No education degrees for high school, minimum BA in field of choice or 6 years work experience.
No school resource officers.
No standardized testing.
Monday through Thursday, 9-3 school week with an additional 9-1 half day on Friday solely dedicated to community service - students required to attend at least 2 Friday sessions per month.
5 one-hour periods with 1 hour for lunch/recess/study hall.
Year round schooling on a 5/2/4/2 on/off quarterly schedule.
No longer compulsory after age 16, provided you have proof of employment.
