They compete as a team during the season. Best 3 out of 5 matches played against an opponent, with 5 different pairs playing a match.
The national championships were last week in Gulf Shores.
This tournament is the USAV collegiate national championship. So individual pairs enter as a team. Coppola and Nuss actually beat another pair from LSU along the way.
