I will add that Rosemunde Sausages next to Toronado is great. Its takeout only but you can bring the food into Toronado. Zeitgeist is another good beer place w/ a big scrappy outside area.

Go see some live music at Parish or Great American Music Hall.

My advice is not to spend too much time in Fisherman's Wharf or even China Town unless you like hanging out with tourists....but for a locals bar near the water front, Grumpy's is a good hangout....pretty good beer selection and food too.

The Steetcar F Line that runs down Market has a historic streetcars from other cities that SF has restored. I think they are more interesting than the classic SF streetcar.
