How must Brennan, Narcisse and McMillan feel these days?

All we've heard from Orgeron and Ensminger during Spring and since the Spring game is that our three quarterbacks are all about equal.

So, are they equal great quarterbacks or are they equal so-so quarterbacks?

After busting their humps all Spring to win the starting job our 3 QB's just learned the answer this week.

Their coaches don't believe they are good enough to be THE quarterback.

McMillan has improved so much, he’s beasting it now. People don’t realize how much of a stud he’s gonna be.

That’s why Orgeron is desperately trying to get a Transfer qb like a drowning man grabbing for driftwood.

Hopefully they feel motivated to elevate their game. I see no way that adding this transfer could be a negative.

The "Etling gives us the best chance to win" narrative from O was widely used for a reason. On top of that, he doesn't appear to try to plan for the future. He was so invested in trying to win in 2017 instead of taking opportunities to develop other QBs for 2018.

If they’re competitors they will understand and it will motivate them.

I just wonder how a coach walks things back if this Burrow deal doesn't come to fruition.

How do you get these guys ready to play hard for you when you're telling them they're not good enough?

I'm sure they've known for a while. And what is the difference in adding a transfer QB versus recruiting one? Can we only add transfers if they are a DB or a DL?

They are on the big boy stage now.

They should understand how it works and that there are no guarantees.

Best man wins.

...right now they’re not. Burrows sounds like a better option at this point

Brennan and Narcisse should not be that upset. Let's say we do get the transfer and he is a two year starter. Assuming Brennan doesn't have to play this season, or next, both he and Narcisse are both in a position as RS Juniors to compete for the job. They would no doubt be better prepared to handle it at that point.

Unfourtuantely that's not the way most think these days and we might lose one of the two.

I just want a QB who can consistently throw for at least 200 yards and 1 TD a game. Seems like everyone else doesn’t have that problem.

While I understand this feeling and have thought the same thing bottom line is this is big boy football and coaches careers are on the line to win.

Did you watch the Spring game? I didn't see anything to make me believe LSU is in good shape at QB this year. If I'm coach O and a Big time QB is thrown in my lap I am for sure taking him.

Honestly, if you have the opportunity to bring in a guy you think has talent, you do so.

It would be one thing if one of our guys was a proven commodity, but they aren't.

So a head coach going out and looking at all possible options to make his team the best he can is now a negative? Iam not an O lover or hater for that matter but come on. He is not saying anything about the current QB’s just that he is willing to see what his best option is. Maybe it’s the three here maybe it’s the transfer. Would be nice to see all four side by side to find out wouldn’t it?
