Is Carroll that much of an upgrade over a healthy Solo?

Yes. Look at any metric you want and it will tell you that Carroll is a significant upgrade over Solo, especially the Solo we’ve seen since returning from injury. Even last year Solo was below replacement level as a wing, I mean the man had a PER of 8 and a TS% of 52. And all of that was before a hamstring injury that seems to have sapped him of a lot of his athleticism. If there are any better realistic trades that y’all can think of I’m all ears. I’m just not sure there any out there that are better than this.

The team was 21-13 post Boogie. Why do they need to make a significant move this offseason? There should be a good bit of high level player movement in the next nine months. The better trades aren't knowable right now and the better run teams are usually in a position to wait for the right opportunity to pop up. What the better teams don't do is burn a first to turn a D+ into a C- because the GM's on the hot seat.
