Yeah, the weapon deal eventually goes away. The main pain of it is at the beginning when you're fighting with skeleton arms and sticks, and then you get a real weapon... then it breaks and you're back to fighting with skeleton arms and sticks, which is just painful. Eventually I was dropping Royal Claymores out of my inventory because I would find another Royal Broadsword for sword and board vs. 2hand. Of course, that feels weird too.

"Hmmm.. I guess I'll just throw this Flaming Greatblade down on the ground here, because I'd rather have the Frostspear in my inventory."
