I try to refrain from “loving” or “hating” my job. I exchange 9 or 10 hours of my time each day for a previously-agreed upon amount of money. That’s it.

I can genuinely say that I like what I do a whole lot. I like the company and my coworkers.

There is no chance I would make a career out of something that I “hate”. That would make for a miserable life. You spend more time with “work” than your family. You should like what you do.

I can respect that a lot of people are ok with this but it's really depressing to me. I can't hate what I do 9-10 hours a day.

I was in the "like my job hate who I do it for category" until recently. Found a new company haven't started yet but hoping they'll be better.
