That sucks. In my opinion, something should happen to her. But, It would be pretty difficult for them to fire her, if not impossible. Firstly there’s the tenure issue. Secondly is that it is a state-funded institution and they would be drug into a lawsuit that the state is restricting her free speech, or firing her because of it.

You may not be able to fire her.
You can, however, eliminate her position and give her some menial task at the same pay rate that does not give her any contact with students and effectively take her platform away from her.
