Lane Kiffin is the least qualified, and possibly the worst candidate L.S.U. could consider. His Father Monte Kiffin is responsible for him getting most of his HC jobs.
1-Oakland Raiders (fired) Al Davis said worst coaching hire he made in his career.

2- Tenn. Left after 1 average year. Alienated the entire fan base.

3- S.C. Failure and was fired. Replaced by Coach "O" on
interim, Coach "O" was a big upgrade in record and
running the S.C. program.
4- Has been poor overall recruiter.
5- Is a Cal. liberal and would Alienate our fanbase.
6- Is known as a good offensive coordinator.

All the crap you haters give O, Kiffin was the one who O REPLACED. If you wanna knock O for being unsuccessful in the past then don't dare bring up Kiffin as a better replacement. Besides the stint at Bama, Kiffin has not been good. O has a better record as a head coach in the sec than Kiffin

He thinks it's acceptable or he got in a bar fight in 1992? To my knowledge he hasn't had any repeated behavior like that since, so not sure why you want to present it like he think it's ok. Why not just present what he did like it happened and not try to bolster your argument by presenting a logical fallacy?

Challenged his players to fight him at OM.

Tried to fight a reporter during same tenure.

Just a couple of weeks ago he was about to pounce on some poor guy that asked him a question.

Yeah, because all evidence presented by both sides indicates that he would not make much of a difference.

where do you think the Joey Freshwater stuff came from? Do you think it's a good look for your head coach to be chasing college girls on campus under an alias?

Well, he was intelligent enough that NO ONE knows about it. Oh wait, everyone knows and he is divorced now so it's Joey to the Max. He even takes pictures of him and the coeds at the bars for social media sites.

I'm glad he will never be the HC at LSU but after typing the above, I'm starting to like the guy. He is my number one celebrity I would want to party with. Joey Freshwater is an "aminal" baby !!!

O also had a restraining order against him by a woman citing violence.

No sorry, that would be the guy we hired/

he didn't run the S.C program, he did the rah rah thing and motivated some talented players to beat lesser opponents yet still lost to any team with a pulse they played. Basically, the same thing he did here only the SC administration was smart enough to see through the smoke and mirrors.

See, you can't make case for Orgeron on just ability, because he measures up to no one.

You have to bring up the off-field stuff to tear them down

I actually know what the subject of this thread is about.

Start a thread about the LSU HC if that is all you want to discuss.

And you thought people talking about Kiffin chasing coeds was appropriate?

People can't make a case for Orgeron without bringing up off-field stuff because his on field results pale in comparison to most.

Did you expect a national championship in his first season?

You think he was actually challenging them to a fight?
I'm not saying what he did was a sound method of challenging his players, but you should be smart enough to know he wouldn't actually fight one of his players.

Oh was he? He literally almost pounced on a reporter or he was an a-hole like Nick Saban is to the media in almost every single press conference

O did.....you know until he got the job, then you and he labeled it a rebuilding job

but let's not false frame this as "you guys expect it to be a NC or nothing!! That's unrealistic!!!"

A guy with history of assault doesn't exactly get the benefit of the doubt when he's behaving aggressively towards people.
